    Yes, the VA messes everything up that they touch so it doesn’t really matter. They’ll mess it up if they get their hands on it because that’s their job. They’re not there to help veterans and they’re not there to make sure veterans get compensated or veterans get medical they’re not really concerned about that. They’re concerned about keeping their jobs so they sleep at home getting full paychecks..

    This is interesting, I was granted non-service connected disability for depression, anxiety, and mood disorder from my deployment in Iraq 03-05. I filed for service connection and was granted PTSD (loss of sleep). I had a few stressors combat zone (Tirkrit/FOB Speicher, loss of battle buddy, and father died from resurgence of cancer) six months into deployment.

    I am showing signs of this disease. I used to be a fairly serious runner. All branches of the military run. Perhaps that is part of the cause. I was a very serious runner. In the past few years I became very sedentary. Becoming sedentary with a history of previous regular activity might be the cause.

    Does the VA have to tell you about all benefits you qualify for? From the way it sounds in your video, I'd say no, and why are they allowed to do that? Them not sending the code sheet or any other paperwork that they forgot is on purpose. No accident about it whatsoever. Also why is the VA not consistent with its percentages and ratings throughout the country? Vets talk to one another quite often especially at the VFW, and the rating and percentages subject always comes up. What do you know, I meet a few guys that have less injuries with no TBI, Sleep Apnea, or PTSD, and they're at 100% service connected, yet I have those big 3 and much more and sit at 70%. Can you explain that? Sounds like shenanigans to me.

    After talking with my VSO I'm now watching a few videos including this one... I had no idea if I was as depressed as I am. I've been suffering and I keep pretending Everything's okay. I've been struggling with simple tasks. Even having trouble speaking. Remember bring me to the people I talk to everyday. Stumbling in the middle of the sentence not being able to finish it. Sadly I cry watching this video cuz it gets me release that I might find out what's wrong with me but then also making me sad because I'm realizing how weak I've become.

    The reason TDIU was denied was because it doesn't have the lower extemeties on the ratings. Such as upper extremeties and lower extremeties to make them 70-80% All the Veteran's rating are upper extremeties!!!

    This shows that the Republican Party that claims to be patriotic and law and order, absolutely doesn’t care about any veteran or their families just as long as their objective is obtained they will sacrifice all of us on their Corporate Overlords Alter for the Sole purpose of just a few thousand dollars in lobbyists money and unlimited corporate campaign donations. Again, this is the norm for VA to delay and delay until we all are dead…

    I’m very encouraged with the new criteria for mental health ratings, just hope they will hurry up to be implemented. Out of all the changes they’ve made to everything else, mental health is the only thing that seems to be beneficial to the Veteran (changes to GERD/IBS, Sleep Apnea, & Tinnitus definitely aren’t for example).

  • @casuallevelexpert3112
    @casuallevelexpert3112 3 дня назад

    The differences between 70-100% are extremely minimal in reality. My evidence and C&P exam from 13 years ago justifies 100% rating and I was still rated 70%.

  • @casuallevelexpert3112
    @casuallevelexpert3112 3 дня назад

    It’s so upsetting that they lump all mental health conditions as one umbrella rating…when there are several conditions they consider as this one category. It’s hard to understand (and very unclear even in the regulations) how they come to the combined percentage they determine for the rating, based on numerous conditions (PTSD, Depression, Chronic Pain, Lifestyle Impact etc)

      Why 30 yrs and why the state? At some point, the VBA began using that national queue method. It took me about 16 months from first claim filing. Not incl. the prior 6 to 9 months of reading VBA process and forms, going to appointments and ER, and watching vids to learn the process.

    I got a positive exam for my back and then my file was sent for an independent medical opinion but since those were not to their liking I was sent for another third exam. I ended up getting denied on the third exam and and was denied. I have been fighting for benefits for almost 40 years now. On my sleep apnea claim secondary to deviated septum and chronic rhinitus I was denied due to asbestos exposure. I never even mentioned asbestos in my claim but the examiner and va lied and made the asbestos exposure up just to deny my claim. This is extremely frustrating. I have a law office representing me but I have gotten nothing since signing up with them 8 years ago.

    To me it’s the opposite, after some emotional issues, where I had so many stress factors in the service. I stopped being neat, I went from being organized to the total opposite. I write down all of my feelings before deployment in the paperwork and NOBODY read anything because no one questioned my feelings and concerns.
